We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is an intriguing adventurous sci-fi/fantasy book about Galen's quest to find a new life in a new destination. The book also contains exciting scenes about a potential man, Lord Edus, who wants a new beginning for his town after it has been haunted by Lord Meldorath's wrongdoings.

Galen, one of the book's main characters, discovers he has the fortune to claim in Voulhire. Voulhire was a new beginning for him after fleeing his former hometown, the Land of Princes, a place torn apart by war and starvation as a result of the Emperor's sons' power struggle. When he arrived at his long-awaited new home, he met Rowan, who appears to help him settle in and also tries to help Galen have a better life than he had at Land of Princes. Get this book to learn about Lord Edus' actions and how Galen's life turned out.

I noticed some positive aspects while reading this book. The point of view from which this book was told was very engaging and easy to understand. The passive dialogue was excellent. The author knows how to mix humor, suspense, and action. If there is one thing I will sing the author's praises for, it is his incredible character development and plot points that build up to the storyline. All of the characters' personalities and backgrounds were revealed in each of their chapters. I liked how the author made the setting of this book clear. The reader gets a glimpse of Voulhire's various cities, towns, rulers, and politics. From the beginning to the end of this book, there was either action, suspense, or intriguing dialogue that kept the reader reading.

There is one thing I didn't like about this intriguing book. In my opinion, this book should have been organized in chapters rather than by the names of the characters. I don't think a reader will be able to locate a thrilling scene that he or she enjoyed because of the way this book is written. This book would benefit from being divided into chapters. I appreciated the author's inclusion of a name glossary to assist the reader in understanding the characters and plot terms.

I still give this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the engaging dialogue and wonderful character development. This book is exceptionally well-edited because I found no errors in it. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, and adventure novels.

Do you know what I liked most about this sci-fi fantasy book? It was its correlation with the real world today. The events were indeed fictional, but the ideas are applicable in the world. Good review.
