Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
Do you like the fantasy genre? Magic and fantasy intrigue you? Do you enjoy delving into a different world from reality? Do you like Harry Potter series? If your answers to these questions are yes, then We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies written by Matthew Tysz is for you.
The central part of the book is the life of Galen Bray in Voulhire. The Land of the Princes, where chaos and war reign supreme; internal strife lasts for 20 years; where starvation and murder occur daily; where the law of the jungle becomes the constitution. After years of living in the Land of the Princes, Galen saw the light of hope. With inheritance as a ticket, Galen escapes from the Land of Princes as a citizen of Voulhire. All were sunshine and rainbows for Galen until he noticed the darkness lurking beneath Voulhire. After that, Galen becomes a Voulhirian that plays a pivotal role in the kingdom. Read up to know how this plays out.
The author has done a great job in writing this book. I like how the book was written in simple English, making it easy to understand. The twist and turns of the plot kept me engaged and excited and made me want to keep reading this book. The format is also clean, making it easier for my eyes. I can keep reading without getting tired like always. I like how Galen manages to improve himself from a refugee in Voulhire into what he’s at the end of the book. I especially like it when he starts to uncover the dark side of Voulhire.
There is nothing I dislike in this book. It is a good read, in my opinion.
This book is exceptionally well-edited, as I didn’t find any errors in the novel. The novel has good writing quality; excellent story development and exciting plots; extensive world-building, and clean formatting. It is a good reading experience in my book. I do not find any glaring mistakes in this book. Due to these reasons, I am giving this book the rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to readers of the general age. As long as you are a fantasy lover, you must read this book. This book is the first book out of nine books of the series. So, I strongly recommend this book to fans of fantasy novels and series. This book contains magic, power, royalty, cultures, politics, and history. If you like this kind of genre, then this book is meant for you. If you love this book, feel free to read this book. May all the readers enjoy this book.
