Craig W. Stanfill's Terms of Service is a sci-fi story in a future where humans live in harmony with artificial intelligence machines. Kim is the main protagonist of the story. She is a lady who works as an instructor in an automation company, teaching basic robots how to act for themselves. The society she lives in is one where Al acts as a government for the people and imposes a totalitarian rule on them. Al determines the kind of food a person should eat, the clothes they should wear, the partner they should have, and so on. Failure for anybody to abide by the Al will result in severe punishment. Kim was willing to sacrifice her life to break free from the Al rules. Will Kim's plan work or backfire? Do you want to know? Then read this text.

I learned a lot while reading this novel. I got to see how society will be if there is an over-reliance on artificial intelligence. Over time, I believe Al will dominate the world, and if that happens, there will be a shallow crime rate since everybody will follow what Al says.

The text informed me not only of the benefits of overreliance on Al but also of the drawbacks. One of the cons is that there won't be any room for humans to have freedom. I cannot imagine staying in a place where we must live like puppets, determined by some de facto machine. Humans have been superior to machines since they created them, but in this case, it turned out the opposite. Craig views the machine as a god. If a god sets a rule, nobody can question it. It is the ultimate thing that makes humans live in harmony, and it is a weapon that can destroy anyone who wants to eliminate that perfect society.

There isn't anything I have discovered to hate about the book. It has been professionally well-edited. I only come across a minor grammatical error. This text deserves to be rated 5 out of 5 stars. It is one of the best science fiction stories I have ever read. The author did well by explaining what society will look like in the future if there is an overreliance on technology. Artificial intelligence dominating humans will one day become a reality. I would love to see how Craig's prediction comes true.

This novel is for mature readers since it contains a sex scene and uses some vulgar language. I recommend this novel to an adult audience who loves stories about a dystopian world.
