We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies, the first book in the series by Matthew Tysz, is a superb and utterly engrossing science fiction or fantasy book. It takes place in a make-believe universe with two dimensions: Earth and Caromentis, the magical realm. Galen, a refugee who spent most of his life in the Land of the Princes, a place rife with death and misery, is the novel's protagonist. In his book, Matthew Tysz takes readers on a fantastic voyage that explores a variety of fascinating themes, including death, magic, leadership, difficulties, and many other fascinating topics.

Galen is on a quest to leave the horrible Land of the Princes at the start of the novel. It is a place that has been severely damaged by conflict, and its people have been left feeling defeated and devastated. After succeeding in leaving the Land of the Princes, he travels to Voulhire, where, with the aid of Rowan, his uncle's executor, he takes over from his deceased uncle and begins working as a blacksmith. Galen gradually learns more about who he is and this perplexing world in Voulhire. Purchase a copy of the book to learn more about his discoveries and Voulhire.

There are several aspects of this book that I found fascinating. First of all, the book's author, Matthew Tysz, did a fantastic job of maintaining its grammar; I was unable to find a single flaw. Second, I respect the author's originality since she made the character growth in her work beautiful and unpredictable. By focusing on a different character in each chapter, the author gave us a chance to get to know each one better. And last, I liked that most of the characters—not just the protagonist—got the attention they deserved.

After finishing this fascinating book, I observed that the author's writing was exceptionally well-written, detailed, and free of ambiguity. However, there is one aspect of the book that I find objectionable: the cover. The cover of the book doesn't fit the storyline well enough. My dissatisfaction with the book's cover became apparent once I finished reading it. I had higher hopes. Despite my displeasure with the book's cover, the wonderful features of this book still outweigh the negative ones, so I cannot take away a star from it. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to adults who are interested in fantasy, battle, death, magic, and other related topics and are not offended by violent imagery.
