Every single time I come across an article or book that contains information about artificial intelligence, I stop and ask myself, "Is exploring this a good choice?" Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill is a fantasy/sci-fi book that talks about artificial intelligence and humans and also gives insight into what could go wrong with the rapid development of AI.

The story of the book starts with Kim waking up and a mention of dreams that plagued her. She did a few routine things like drinking coffee and checking her messages as she prepared for work. She worked for a company that required her to work closely with artificial intelligence in various categories and orders. Kim’s dream right from the beginning was to work closely with these AIs, especially with high-order AIs. This was after over five years of her working there, but things did not feel right anymore. AI was now changing the way the world worked, to the detriment of humans everywhere. She had a part in this and had to do something to change the direction things were headed, which was not good for humans.

I like the settings of the book. It was set in the future when the development of artificial intelligence was at its peak, so it would be very odd if the way technology was used was not also very developed. Right from the first chapter, the book started expressing technology in a very developed form, and that was good. This story also makes people think about the adverse effects that could follow the rapid development of artificial intelligence. We are in a time where technology is rapidly advancing, and the idea of artificial intelligence is already being applied to different aspects of life. It is something that cannot be stopped or delayed but can only be controlled and shaped. This story can help us know what to correct and what to avoid.

There was nothing I disliked about Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill at all. It is exciting whenever you travel to a place more developed than where you are used to, and that is similar to reading this book, only the level of development you experience when you read this book is on a very large scale.

Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill was professionally and exceptionally edited. The book did not have even one error in it. I recommend it to people who love reading about artificial intelligence and people who love science fiction books. I also give the book a 5 out of 5 stars rating.
