Review of The Devil Pulls the Strings
The Devil Pulls the Strings, written by J. W. Zarek, is a fiction book that centers around the character Boone Daniels. The book opens in Joust Arena, where there is a festival, and Boone Daniels is fighting with Flynn. People were cheering for a winner, and Boone Daniels emerged as the winner, but Flynn was badly injured. Boone Daniels goes to New York City to attend a band concert on Flynn's spot since he was injured. He arrived in New York City and went to meet Professor Stone, who had the music piece he wanted. He meets Sapphire Anjou and armed people at Professor Stone's place looking for the piece. Sapphire was a French diplomat and an assistant to Professor Stone, so they went to the French embassy to hind from the armed people. Sapphire meets her professor in a lecture hall to talk about Paganini music and perform a piece she was supposed to perform. Sapphire and Boone Daniels realize where Professor Stone had hidden the music. They have to find the music and send it to the intended destination.
I liked several things in this book. Firstly, I like the story-building in this book. The story starts small and goes on to become larger and larger. It started with a fight in the Arena, and events turned out differently, where characters played different roles. Secondly, I liked the combination of different genres in the book. It was a perfect fantasy book that contained action and mystery. The author talks about modern-day society combined with magic that involves a secret society. The flow was of another class, and every chapter ended with suspense, keeping readers attentive to what happened next. It was like reading a movie script with modern fantasy. The way the author combined the different genres of this book was genius. It is the best fantasy book you will ever get lucky to read. Finally, I liked the story narration, such as dialogue use and normal narration, since they engaged the reader.
There are no negative aspects in the book.
I rate The Devil Pulls the Strings by J. W. Zarek five out of five stars. The book was professionally edited because I found one error. The book deserves a perfect rating, given how the author combined different story genres into a perfect story. The story development was enjoyable, and the flow of events unpredictability made the book worth a perfect rating.
I recommend The Devil Pulls the Strings by J. W. Zarek to lovers of stories of combined genres. The book combines different genres, and they fit perfectly into an enjoyable story.
