Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
The science fiction novel We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a creative piece that is suspenseful. It relates the story of a humble exile from the Lands of the Princes who inherits property in the wealthy and powerful kingdom of Voulhire. Galen Bray was a novice at forging when he received a forge from his great-uncle. He meets several people who assist him while he is in the Voulhire. They set off on an excursion to update the forge, as one of them served as his uncle's executor while learning about the business. Living in Magnum seemed different from his war-torn nation, since the people appeared to be nice. They soon run into many unanticipated challenges, and strange things start happening in Voulhire. In light of the terrifying unknown events taking place around the realm, Galen's goals appear to be nothing more than a pipe dream. With Rowan's assistance, Galen will get additional information about his inheritance so he can carry on his great-uncle's business and settle into his new home.
The book is intriguing and exciting to read; therefore, I enjoyed it. The storyline twists in this novel added to its excitement; the author did a fantastic job. This book's plot appealed to me, and I applaud the author for his creativity and writing style. I like that the author provided a map for the readers in the book. The map also made it easier for me to follow the plot and made me feel more grounded in the book. The reference section at the back of the book proved quite beneficial in helping me fully comprehend the novel's unexpected and challenging concepts.
The book's plodding beginning and the abundance of background information it contained bothered me. Another issue is that there are many characters and themes mentioned in the book, making it challenging to remember them all. However, aside from that, I relished reading this book. It took several interesting turns that kept me interested in the story. Reading such a remarkable and informative book was delightful.
The book was excellent and engrossing. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars because the book was skillfully written and intriguing to read. To my knowledge, there were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.
I recommend this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, to individuals who love to read science fiction and fantasy.
