Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a great book that tells the story of Galen Bray, a young man who served a mission in Magnum Caelum. One of the best blacksmiths in Voulhire, Galen's great-uncle, ran a forge. He wanted an heir to his businesses because he was about to die. He appointed Rowan as his executor just before passing away so that he could lead Galen and teach him everything he needed to know. Galen traveled to Voulhire from the Lands of the Princes to take over his great-uncle's steel business. Galen's great-uncle bequeathed his businesses to Galen so that he would be successful and could atone to his family for his failings and for never making amends before his passing. When Galen arrived in Voulhire, there were numerous weird occurrences.
This book has some good qualities that contributed to my enjoyment of it. I must first praise the author for the superb portrayal. Each character was meticulously and patiently created by him. He gave his readers a thorough idea of each character's name, demeanor, and traits through descriptions and dialogue. Second, the opening of this novel drew me in right away. I found the novel fascinating because of its fluctuating pacing. Any reader will be captivated by the author's storytelling technique and fall in love with the story. Additionally, there was a lot of suspense and magic in this novel. The characters were utilized in an engaging and captivating manner by the author.
It concerned me that the book started off slowly and had so much background information. The fact that the book mentions so many characters and concepts makes it difficult to keep track of them all. Despite those issues, I enjoyed reading this book. My interest in the story was maintained by numerous compelling turns it made. It was wonderful reading such an amazing and intriguing book.
I was captivated by every chapter I read. I admire how the author set up this book, since I enjoyed reading it from beginning to end. Furthermore, I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, 5 out of 5 stars because it was well-written and enthralling. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.
I would recommend this book to individuals who enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy, as well as historical fiction and stories with a strong magical element.
