The book Undertow is amazing! it is by Michael Buckley. It came out this year and there will be a second book next year. It was soo great, I couldn't put it down! I read it in 2 days. It is about modern day Coney Island and this race of people who come from the ocean. There is action and some romance, but not too much. It is really interesting. I suggest you read it if you like a good sci/fi or fiction book.

Hello fellow readers,
Currently, I am reading Undertow by Michael Buckley. This is a well-written book that I am surprised more people don’t know about. In my opinion, it would be a great book to have high schoolers read in their freshmen or sophomore years, because it gives a great perspective on the topic of anti-foreigner sentiment in the U.S. If any of you have read the book or are currently reading it, please reply to this post. I’d like to see what you think about both this book and the topic of immigration.
