Craig W. Stanfill's book Terms of Service is an innovative and exciting look at a possible future society that cutting-edge AI technologies have greatly changed. It tells the story of Kim, a woman who tries hard to fit into her society's strict rules and norms but has trouble doing so.

Kim finds that the AI-dominated society she believed she lived in is actually a mirage when she tries to abide by these terms of service. As she strives to do so, Kim starts to doubt the reality of her world. And to make matters worse, she quickly discovers that evil forces seek to seize control of her life. Kim has to make hard choices as she tries to discover who she is and regain her independence and individuality. Will she choose a safe but unfulfilling life, or will she risk everything for a chance at real freedom and happiness? You'll be on the edge of your seat reading this book as it prompts you to consider the place of AI in modern society.

I really enjoyed this book for so many reasons. First, it's filled with unexpected twists and turns. Second, the author, Craig Stanfill, does a great job of balancing the potential of futuristic AI technology with the realism of how it could impact society. Third, he does a great job of combining the main character's emotional journey, Kim, with the complexities of a society where everyone wears the same clothes to keep up with the latest trends. Fourth, the story explores how technological progress can change society in subtle and sometimes unsettling ways. Finally, the book's world-building is immersive because it shows many different points of view and interactions that help readers understand the story even better.

One of the things I loved about this book is its ability to make me think, but if there was one aspect that made me a little sad, it was how the society portrayed in the book seemed to prioritize unity and conformity over individual development. The book shows how society became obsessed with categorizing and classifying people, but in doing so, it forgot that people are different for a reason and that no categorization can truly capture or define them. The book highlights that people are different yet similar, and society should embrace those differences and similarities. By limiting individual development, society would become stagnant. If the limits are broken, they won't benefit the people or society. It is a sad irony that the society in the book is trying to save the world and keep a civilization going by using methods that will lead to their destruction.

I don't dislike any aspect of this book; I absolutely loved it. The author has created a world full of interesting things and is deeply connected to what the characters go through. The writing is smooth, and the dialogue between the characters feels authentic. In addition, this book was exceptionally well edited, as I did not encounter any errors.

Even though the book has sexually explicit content and might not be appropriate for younger readers, I like that the author used appropriate language throughout the book. It's a good choice for readers who like science fiction focusing on artificial intelligence. Therefore, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Overall, I would recommend Terms of Service to experienced science fiction readers and those just getting into the genre.

We were made differently for a reason. Every single one of us is important and has contributions to make towards our planet. We were made to stand out in our uniqueness, categorizing people will only cover up their talents. Nice review!

I love this book already. I am going to add it to my want-to-read book list. I also appreciate that the book has the ability to make one think and how it greatly discussed the artificial intelligence.

A world governed by AI is hardly something that would turn out well because it would be based on control. I would love to read about how Kim attempts to break off from the shackles of her world. Interesting review.

I believe that any AI-dominated society will always have challenges because people always make use of the negative side instead of the positive side. This is the problem we are facing today in the world. Good job.

I suddenly want to know more about Kim and the decisions she ended up making. Technology, most times, does more harm than good in our current society. From this review, this book will definitely be worth every minute you spend reading it.
