Firstly i need to say that, since english is not my first language i can’t help a lot around grammatical problems. About the story: the narrative remindes me of Barbara Kingsolver’s (the author of The Lacuna); I really enjoyed your carefullness while describing nature, places and accents, its a descriptive master piece!

To the points where i can be helpfull: At the first chapter I think its unnecessary to quote CIA when Clive only work for DARPA.

Still at the beginning of the book, I feel it can break the clímax repeat the “code-breaking” story.

At the begging the author writes “the navy gave too much background”, then you put Sonya say “the navy won’t give us any information” (Page ).

I Love the hystorical background, its is a cozy dark-academia type of fantasy.

I wish the author could take more time building the paranoia atmosphere at chapter 6.

I would Love to see more of the biology of whales swob upon the history.

The nuances of the romance was well placed, the characters have profund psicology enough to have ideals and mannerism, but I wanted to see more development of the main one, particulary while talking about feelings.

Its a really good story, the type you can wait a movie about it, thanks for sharing your creativity in form of book, hope my review can help!
