We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, is a work of literature that features magic, quests, religion, and politics. We are exposed to a wide variety of characters from various origins, each with their own special skills and goals. A refugee from the Lands of the Princes, Galen Bray lives in the wealthy nation of Voulhire and receives his late uncle's wealth and property as an inheritance. Galen quickly makes a new friend in Rowan, his uncle's executor, and the two of them set out on their trip, which takes an unexpected turn when they locate an item a magician is looking for. The King is one example. He desires for his country to prosper, but he must be cautious of those who are in his court. We also encounter Lord Eldus Alderman, whom the monarch has appointed to enhance Hillport's economy and guarantee its citizens a higher standard of living.

I loved the book's opening map and reference section. They were really helpful in that they helped clarify the many locations and characters in Voulhire, making it simpler to read the novel afterward. Because I could easily grasp and picture the storyline, I like the author's writing approach. I was immediately drawn in by the characters and plot because of the book's smooth flow. Galen Bray was a really appealing character to me. He is incredibly likeable due to his humility, gratitude, and charity. It's obvious that his new pals value such qualities in him as well, which at times stands in stark contrast to many of their characteristics. Despite being straightforward, the wording captivated the readers. The book's sheer cleverness piqued my interest. Tysz's achievement of conceptual breadth by making research materials available was noteworthy.

At times, the story seems a little too slow. I had a hard time remembering all the characters that were introduced at the beginning. Apart from that, I thought it was a really great book. He introduced the main characters one at a time, giving each one their chapter. As a result, I could understand each character's viewpoint. I enjoyed reading the book from the beginning to the end.

I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, 5 out of 5 stars because it was well written and interesting to read. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.

I would recommend this book to lovers of adventure, magic, and fiction.
