Review of Terms of Service
Kim had so many dreams she wanted to fulfill. Her main goal was to work at an artificial intelligence company and work with an order four AI. She called them the real AIs because they could perform many more functions. As it turns out, things did not go as planned for Kim. In the world she lived in, everyone was constantly watched and monitored. Humans are not as free as they used to be. There were penalties for everything. All Kim wanted was to live an average life and be under the radar. She didn't want to jeopardize the opportunity to live a comfortable life, so she decided to lie low. Unknown to Kim, the organization that created the AI had different plans for her. When Kim's friend, a well-known troublemaker, comes back to town, Kim's life is turned upside down. I think what Kim hated the most was the lack of privacy and freedom. She hated that every aspect of their lives had to be monitored, and she wanted to escape from that. Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill explores Kim's life and how she was able to break away from the restricted lifestyle.
I loved how relatable the main character was. She was a young woman trying to figure out her place in life. She felt like the society she lived in was restrictive and it had so many rules. She wanted to live for herself. She got tired of following the crowd and being told what to do. She realized that her fate was in her hands and she was the only one who had control over her life. She knew she did not have a perfect life. She tried to conform to the rules that were laid down. I love how brave she was. She decided she wanted to change. I love that she was brave enough to take the steps to achieve the freedom that she craved.
This book was very eye-opening. It explored the idea of human life after the introduction of artificial intelligence. This book was able to satisfy that curiosity. The author was able to show us the changes that took place after the creation of artificial intelligence. Although the book focused on mainly the negative aspects. I loved that the author paid attention to every tiny detail and made sure that every event that occurred in the book was connected.
There were a lot of changes in this timeline. Changes were made to the type of clothes they wore, the type of food they ate, the type of music they listened to, and the type of shows they watched. I will award this book 5 out of 5 stars because of how immersive and captivating it was. The author did an incredible job. The book is a bit slow at first, but it all builds up to make an exciting story. I did not find any grammatical errors while reading this book.
There was nothing I disliked about this book. It was a very thrilling book, and I loved that I was able to follow the main character on her journey. I will recommend this book to readers who love books about science fiction and artificial intelligence. This book contains some sexual scenes, so I will recommend it to mature adults.
