We are Voulhire: An New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz. It's a story about magic, science fiction and an adventure of a young man named Galen Bray who came from the land of the princes. The King Wilhelm of Voulhire ordered his friend and a general named Meldorath to execute Orlin the Lord of Hillport because he was found abusing children. And so, the King appointed Meldorath to become the new lord though he didn't last long because the King becomes suspicious of his friend and also he found out that Meldorath was experimenting on humans so he got arrested and wants him to get executed in an unknown location. The King then appointed Eldus Alderman a former judge a new lord of Hillport, he wants to bring the town to its potential with the help of his family members.
Galen Bray traveled through the sea to meet his uncle who was a blacksmith. By the time he boarded a ship that's when his uncle died. He didn't have a chance to meet him personally. Though he was given an inheritance before he passed, by that time he arrived at Magnum Caelum he met his uncle's executor of estate and also became his friend and companion on his adventure. Galen was fascinated how peaceful it was to live in Magnum Caelum. Is it going to be as peaceful as it is in other town of Voulhire? Are the people going to be as friendly as the people in Magnum Caelum?

This is my second time reading a fantasy book. The map, the main characters and the heads up where you can find the glossary was written at the end of the book, which becomes a great help. The book has a very unique characters which make it stand out, even the place and outline was well executed, the uniqueness of this book will make you read the second and the rest of the series, which i definitely will.
The only thing i could say as a negative aspect is just that it jumps from different settings to another which was a little bit confusing but it all make sense at the end of the book but I'm sure the author has a purpose of doing that. Understandable this is the first book.

I will rate this 5 out of 5 stars I love the book it was professionally edited. I never saw any errors or misspelled words and the use of adjectives was excellent. It will be great if this story will be on TV series. It will surely be a big hit.

I recommend this book to anyone above 18 years old who loves to read fantasy, sci Fi with action and magic. I suggest you read this very carefully it will all make sense at the end of the first book and the rest of the series. Overall a great work for the author Matthew Tysz.
