The book We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, is purely fictional science and romance. A sudden turn in the protagonist's life propels her into a magical world full of peril and strange occurrences. The Kingdom of Voulhire, modest but envious, is at the story's center. King Wilhelm of Voulhire emphasized that his four sons would conspire to overthrow him to claim the throne for themselves. So he expelled the four princes from his palace and gave them each a small chain of islands and an army large enough to defend themselves, but the war-torn lands continued to deteriorate with each passing year.

Galen is a straightforward young man from the Land of Princes, where surviving each day means choosing between starvation and death. He seized the first chance he came across to leave this dangerous location. Magnum Caleum is the small city where Galen must travel to claim his uncle's inheritance. He is entranced as he arrives by the happy people, the abundance of food, and the freedom. Rowan, his uncle's executor, meets him there and aids in acclimating him to his new surroundings. Will the King's disagreements with his Mianoran council turn them against him? Will Meldorath, a powerful mage, cause chaos?

I appreciate how intricate and carefully considered both the main plot and the supporting details are. The book's introduction includes a map that aids the reader in understanding the setting of the action. The vocabulary and names used in Voulhire are defined toward the book's conclusion. With each chapter, we learn more about the events as seen through the eyes of various characters and get to know their backgrounds a little better. I was able to learn more about the people and their actual intentions as a result.

This book is jam-packed with suspense and mystery. Characters from earlier books are discussed in more detail in this book, and it is becoming clearer how important they are to the plot. One of the main aspects of this book that I adore is this. It's amazing how much detail was paid. Tysz has done a fantastic job of bringing the story's people, their goals and struggles, and the basic locations to life.

The cover, which I believe doesn't match the story and is also dull, was the only aspect of the book that I didn't like. Although it might just be a matter of choice, the colour blue is generally associated with tranquillity, which I believe sets the reader up for disappointment.

I advise fans of fantasy literature to read Matthew Tysz's We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies. This book is fantastic to appreciate if magical movies intrigue you. As you read it, you can envision it as a movie. Both young and old readers will like the novel. It received a perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars from me because of how exceptionally well-edited it was.

I was discouraged by the cover at first as it looked uninteresting but reading this review right now has changed my mind! I am definitely adding this to my bookshelf as I enjoy fantasy books.

This book blew my mind, the fact that the author was able to create a world and even add a map to it was borderline creative. I appreciate talent when I see one. Excellent review!

It's quite intriguing how you engaged my mind. Indeed, I am so excited about reading this book. It's really superb, to get to see a review, that captures a lot, in just few paragraphs. A splendid book, in every sense of it.

Why is the king making an emphasis that, his sons would overthrow him? Seems he got a hint somehow. The only way to find out is by adding this book to my shelf. Great review.

I thought that this was the first novel in the series. Anyway, lots of kings in that time period were fearful of their sons, weren’t they? It seems like the only way sons could ascend the throne was if the previous king were dead.

I'm sure this is going to be a good read since you rated it 5 out of 5 stars. I hate reading about betrayal and coups but I am curious to know what happened and why the kings felt his sons will overthrow him. I am always looking forward to read your reviews.
