We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a fictional action-adventure story that takes place in the fictional land of Voulhire. The story focuses on the King of the land, King Wilhelm, as well as his close subjects – like the cunning and charismatic Chancellor, Midius Maido, and his vice Chancellor, Lady Indara. It also centers on the Alderman family, specifically the newly appointed Lord, Lord Eldus, as well as his wife and two children. It also centers around Galen Bray, an heir to his dead uncle's fortune, and Rowan, Galen's dead uncle's executor. Last but certainly not least, it centers around the villain of the story, Meldorath, and the aftermath of the events that happen in the opening chapter of the story. When the story is beginning, the main characters are scattered accross the land but as the story progresses, they are pulled towards the same location by different causes. Ultimately, it comes down to the heroes going up against a ruthless army led by the main villain himself. Will the heroes survive and manage to rid Voulhire of Meldorath?

The book itself is exceptionally well edited with zero grammatical errors between it's pages. Also, it's length is optimal - neither too short nor too long. It is also written in a style which closely resembles the typical format of a movie or an episode of a show, whereby it switches from scene to scene and from one character to another in a very smooth fashion. This cinematic style makes it feel as though one isn't reading the story but rather watching it on television - which in return allows for greater immersion into both the characters as well as the overall story taking place. The characters' backgrounds are not too complicated or convoluted either, which allows for greater emphasis to be placed on expanding the story (less pages are spent on building up the characters and instead are spent on building up the story itself). Even the dialogue between characters is not saturated with irrelevant meaningless talk but is instead used to further expand the story as well.

The book is well written and the story well developed, such to the point that I couldn't find any fault with it. In my opinion, it doesn't have any negatives that I can point out. It is one of the best fantasy-fiction works I've read in a while.

As I have already pointed out, the book is exceptionally well edited, with a well developed story, with likable and relatable characters, as well as written in a style that enables deep immersion into the story. It is nothing short of a fictional masterpiece. Thus, I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. A fictional masterpiece in every sense of the word.

If you are a fan of fiction, fantasy-fiction to be precise, then this is the book for you. I definitely recommend it to all fans of the fantasy-fiction genre. It is a book worth reading, and a story worth following.
