Who could believe a young man from a war-torn land would become a property owner? Such was the case of Galen from the land of the princes. A land where one's fate is slow starvation or death by the sword. The bookWe are Voulhire: A new arrival under great skies by Mathew Tysz is a fantastic book filled with many twists and turns that captivated my attention. The story began with the Emperor of Lullabies, whose four sons conspired against him and wanted to overthrow him and share his kingdom among themselves. The emperor, getting wind of the plan, sent the sons to a different island and gave each son a reasonable amount of military personnel and equipment. None of the sons had enough ammunition more than the other. The sons prospered, but the war brought prosperity to ruins due to a civil war among the princes.

Galen, the book's protagonist, left the land of the princes amidst the war when an opportunity arose. He joined a voyage going to Magnum Caelum, a town in Voulhire, to inherit the properties of his uncle that had just passed. In Magnum Caelum, he was welcomed by the mayor of the city and Rowan, his uncle's executor. The duo helped him process the paper works to inherit the property.

The book is captivating and colorful. Some of the few things that I like most about the book is the map at the beginning of the book, which gives readers an idea of the political structures and age-long history of the country called Voulhire. Also, the inclusion of a character list in the book aids the readers in understanding each of the characters. Another thing is the name of the discussed individual appearing as a heading.

Some of the book's positive aspects are the author's creative and beautiful storytelling style. The author has impressive writing skills that are free of ambiguous words for easy understanding of the story by the readers. The character and plot development are incredible.

One of the things I least like about the book is the sexual jokes that were made in the book We are Voulhire: A new arrival under great skies. The author exceptionally well edited the book. There is no negative aspect of the book.

I enjoyed reading the book, it was captivating, and I read it nonstop. I happily rate the book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars, and I look forward to reading other books by the author of the series. I recommend the book We are Voulhire: A new arrival under great skies by Mathew Tysz to readers that enjoy adventure books.
