Historical books about black people during the colonial era are often tragic and always talk about mistakes that black people made in the past. However, it seems this book might be different. Great review.

I find your review interesting and am sure the book is also interesting too. I like how the author linked the past with the present.

I find the plot of the book amazing, but the division into different parts is not what I would be interested in reading. Your review well detailed the book, well done!

The problem of racism, which is still affecting humanity very deeply, is at the center of a novel that seems interesting for this theme's development. Thank you for your great review!

While I always try to shy away from books and movies that depict the struggle of the black people, I will want to try this book. Your review really piqued my interest in the book.
