We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, follows Galen Bray's and Lord Eldus Alderman's narrative. Galen is a young man who experienced tyranny and severe limitations growing up. He is from the Lands of the Princes, where crimes are punished by swift execution or deliberate torment. However, in a stroke of good fortune, Galen's great uncle from Voulhire designates him as his successor upon his passing. In essence, he becomes Galen's savior and the key to a better and happier existence by setting up Galen's rapid move to Voulhire. The town of Hillport, which is still getting over losing its last two leaders, now has Lord Eldus as its leader. Lord Meldorath and Lord Orlin's brutality and perversions left the populace traumatized, and Eldus must first aid in their healing. Eldus also has aspirations to develop Hillport into a major industrial center. Galen and Eldus both have setbacks; they discover that they have a lot to learn and a strange magical world to comprehend. Galen is accompanied by two guides, each of who is assisting him for unknown reasons and with ulterior goals. Eldus' family will die as a result of Eldus's invisible adversaries, who fully blindside him.

A map at the start of the chapter aids the reader in locating and analyzing the chapter's setting. This is also useful for comprehending the logistics and length of time it takes the characters to go. In addition, a glossary of the concepts and names used in the text is included. I appreciated the author's deft handling of the intricate plot. The personalities were varied and thoughtfully complex. The creation of the planet was excellent. The historical setting on which the story was based was realistically portrayed in the narrative. As I continue reading the series, the social politics that are discussed in this book are interesting.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was engaging. I also like how the story starts out. As a result of the information it revealed about Galen's life before he migrated to Voulhire, it caught my attention and kept me captivated.

I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, 5 out of 5 stars because it was well organized and entertaining. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.

I recommend this book to lovers of fantasy, fiction, action, suspense, and thrillers.
