Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
When magical novels are described in a way that encourages you to use your imagination in order to comprehend and be entertained, they are immensely liked. As a result, Matthew Tysz's beautiful and exciting novel We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies draws us in.
In this book, the Voulhire kingdom is introduced to us. This kingdom possesses all the necessary resources to be prosperous and safe, but evilness and corruption stand in the way of its prosperity. Galen Bray, who inherited his great uncle's company and is based in Magnum Caelum in Voulhire, is presented to us. Galen views this as a wonderful opportunity because he will be leaving the Lands of the Princes, where he formerly resided and along with the other residents, suffered from famine, civil wars, and extreme poverty. He wants to maximize the prosperity of his inheritance as a result.
Lord Eldus, who has been appointed as Hillport's new leader, is also introduced to us. The previous lords, Lord Orlin and Lord Meldorath, who imposed some evilness on the town's residents, are still having an impact on the town's recovery. Considering this is a town in recovery, Lord Eldus is resolved to make up for all the wrongs that have been done there, including implementing new strategies for commercial success so that it can remain a prosperous industrial powerhouse for a very long time. Yet, due to their exposure to powerful magic that they do not comprehend and the lessons they learn along the way, both Galen and Lord Eldus encounter some obstacles in achieving their objectives. Will they be able to overcome their obstacles? To learn more, read the book.
I appreciated how everything in this book was clearly described. The part of the book I liked the best was the introduction because it made it easy for me to get interested in the story and make me want to read more. By utilizing clear, understandable descriptions that also encouraged me to use my imagination, Matthew Tysz treated this book like the beautiful work of art that it is. I could readily differentiate the many characters and note their traits, which improved my comprehension of the work. I also appreciated how the author made sure each chapter contained unique and intriguing material.
I found nothing in this book to be disliked. I appreciated the author's choice to include and explain each terminology used in the Voulhire realm. This made it simple for me to check up terms I didn't understand, which improved my comprehension of the text. Even though I ended up getting lost along the way since each chapter introduced new characters and I was unable to understand how they related to one another, I eventually came to completely understand the plot, which increased the book's intrigue.
This book was exceptionally edited because it was well-structured and free of grammatical faults. I like that this book leaves you with a few unanswered questions, which I hope the following book series will address. I will thus give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I suggest it to readers who enjoy both historical and science fiction tales. Also, I suggest it to those who enjoy reading fantastical literature.
