Galen is a young man who lived in the Land of Princes but moved to Magnum Caelum in Voulhire due to the continuous war and violence that went on and on. He escaped thanks to the captain of a ship. His uncle reached out to him before he died as a form of redemption for not keeping in touch with the family all these years. He passed his fortune and business unto Galen to continue his work and build a better life for himself. Read We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies if you are curious to know more about Galen and other adventures connected to him.

A brief explanation of what transpired between Lord Orlin and Meldorath was used to initiate the plot of the book. Their story was further explained in the book. The author narrates the origin of the Land of Princes and how the Emperor of Lullabies masterminded the division. It was disheartening to know that a father can go to such an extent to achieve his selfish goal, even if it is harming his children. Galen was to have escaped from the Land of Princes before he was doomed to a better place that held a bright future for him. He was given his late uncle's fortune, house, and business. He was trained by Rowan, who helped to master the skill of a blacksmith. Lord Eldus was assigned by King Wilhelm to another part of Voulhire called Hillport. His sole aim is to fix the damages caused by his predecessors. Moving to Hillport with his family, he began to discover things he wasn't aware of.

The first thing I learned from this book was the importance of unity. When people work together, they are strong enough to win against their enemies. But when are divided, they let their enemies win. Furthermore, I liked the thorough illustration of the characters and their activities. Matthew gave each character a chapter that described and told their stories very well. The author allowed readers to focus on and understand each character by using them as titles for every chapter. This made the characters sound more realistic. I enjoyed the writing technique of this book because it is simple and understandable.

I must say this book is a good read. Not only that, but I love everything about this book and did not come across anything that I disliked. This book was professionally edited and because of the positive aspects mentioned above, I will rate this book five out of five stars.

I will recommend We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies to readers who are interested in sci-fi books and know more about the skill of a blacksmith.
