Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill is a captivating and thought-provoking dystopian novel set in a future society controlled by a single corporation known as The Company. The protagonist, Kim, works for an artificial intelligence company and begins to question her reality after discovering a secret that could threaten The Company's power and control. As she delves deeper into the mystery, she uncovers the consequences of blindly following rules and regulations, highlighting the dangers of giving too much power to corporations in a world dominated by technology.
One of the standout positive aspects of the book is the author's ability to create a believable and frightening world dominated by technology. The plot is full of twists and turns that keep the reader engaged, while the writing is excellent, making for an enjoyable reading experience. The themes explored in the book, such as power and control, are thought-provoking and raise important questions about the dangers of giving up too much power to corporations. The characters are well developed, and their actions and motivations are convincing, making the story feel more realistic.
In terms of negative aspects, the book may not be suitable for all readers as it contains a few sex scenes. Additionally, some readers may find the pace of the story slow in certain sections.
