We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, is the first installment of the We are Voulhire series. Galen, a man who resides in the Lands of the Princes, serves as the protagonist of the novel. The Land of the Princes was brutal, and it engulfed the country in bloodshed and destruction. Galen therefore seized the opportunity to depart towards Voulhire. Galen's great-uncle left him his possessions as an inheritance. To carry on his uncle's blacksmithing history, Galen must figure out how to continue his uncle's business. Rowan, the executor of Galen's great-uncle, assists Galen in mastering the craft of blacksmithing. The second plot line centers on Lord Eldus and his household. After a significant rebel attack that left all but one servant alive in the mansion, they had just relocated to a new location. Initially apprehensive about their new home, the couple and their two kids grow to enjoy it.

The author's narrative style and the book's shifting points of view really appealed to me. Because of how well the book flowed and how captivating it was, the author employed simple, easy-to-understand language. The written situations and the characters' emotions came to life for me. For individuals like me who have never read about Voulhire, I thought it was a great idea that the author included a map of the nation at the beginning of the book, along with a thorough reference guide organized alphabetically. For those who desire to explore Voulhire's history further, the author also included a link.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and interesting to read. In terms of how things would operate in our reality, the action is plausible and not overly bizarre. The mystical components were used to emphasize the social and political themes, which, in my opinion, made the book's subject more accessible. It is commendable how far the author went in creating this fictional world. I think the author has done an excellent job building anticipation. What I especially loved about this book is that the author provides a glossary at the end.

I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, 5 out of 5 stars because it was fascinating and easy to read. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.

I recommend this book to readers who enjoy reading crime, fantasy, and science fiction books.
