We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, is the first installment of the We are Voulhire series, a fantasy novel that follows Galen Bray, a man from the “Land of the Princes,” where famine or death by sword are the only options if you are not wealthy or making some kind of economic contribution. Galen leaves his home searching for a better life after learning of his uncle's inheritance and arrives in Voulhire, a nation governed by Wilhelm, a wise king. Meldorath, who is thought to be dead but is not universally accepted as such. The task of solving the puzzle falls to Lord Eldus as a result.

I appreciated how quickly the book elicited a range of emotions. I adore how the narrative progresses through several points of view, allowing us to understand how various characters are feeling about the current situation. It was enjoyable to read this novel because it was so passionate and exciting. The newly introduced magic system and world were innovative. The glossary at the conclusion was a great addition to the world-building because it made it easier to remember names and get used to the new environment. My favorite aspect of the plot is how the author described how each circumstance moved from one location to another, bringing the people closer together as a result.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was insightful and interesting, although the page numbers are the sole drawback. The page counts are variable; apart from that, there are no issues with the book's real plot. I like glancing at the map since it gives me a better sense of the setting and makes me feel as though I am on the same journey as the characters. The characters in the book are quite distinctive, and even the scenery and narrative were well executed. I appreciated this book most for its originality.

I have to confess that the author managed to keep me interested the entire time. Furthermore, I'm happy I stumbled into a book with such profound and thought-provoking content. From start to finish, I found it to be enjoyable. I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, 5 out of 5 stars because it was well-written and intriguing. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.

I recommend this book to fans of fantasy, magic, and mystery.
