Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
The captivating novel We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz explores the story of a thriving imaginary kingdom called Voulhire and its remarkable people. In the novel, Voulhire is described as a kingdom renowned for its wealth and sorcery on a global scale. Galen Bray, the narrator, came from the nearby Land of the Princes as a runaway, though. He was fortunate to have a rich uncle who left him his money when he passed away. Yet, in my opinion, the great lord Meldorah was the focus of this series rather than Galen's tale. The former ruler of Hillport, Meldorath, is a powerful wizard who longs for the ability to rule over Caromentis, a magical realm. He was so strong, and the inhabitants of Voulhire trembled at the mere mention of his name. He was a close friend of King Wilhelm, but because of his never-ending ambition, he lost the King's trust and was later imprisoned in a tower on an island known as Lorcia's Isle. Hillport fights to survive and take its rightful place among Voulhire's great cities after his incarceration. Would the great lord permit this, or would he use his tremendous magic to remove Hillport's new lord and shut the gates to glory for the growing city? Would he seek retribution or would he interfere with the justice system out of charity for the Hillport residents? Get this book to discover for yourself.
This book was excellent. Who wrote this book? His creativity is unmatched! Due to my lack of activity, I finished the book in a single day. I had assumed the story would come to an end, but I now have to buy the next volume in the series. The characters were great, and I particularly liked Lord Meldorah for his serenity and stability. He was essentially in charge of everything. He can control people's minds thanks to a virus that was discussed in the previous chapter. I applaud the author for his skill and think this plot was amazing.
I thoroughly read this book, and I'm delighted to report that I liked it. The violence in this novel was magnified to the point where it conjured up a disgusting image in my head, which is a drawback that I would want to ignore. In the book, disembowelment was a common form of conflict resolution, which I firmly despised.
This book was fun to read! I gave it my all-out love. The fact that this book was action-packed and the excitement in the plot never seemed to wane is one feature of it that I can't help but praise. Readers deserve novels like this, thus I think people should buy the book. I don't think a kid could have the creativity of Matthew Tysz. I appreciate his eloquence as he described fictitious towns in great detail.
Honestly, I can say that this book was error-free. It was superbly written, edited, suspenseful, and action-packed. I must give it a perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars as a result. I'm willing to express my gratitude to Matthew Tysz for his excellent writing since authors like him need to be recognized for it.
I particularly suggest this book to anyone who is fascinated by magic. This novel should definitely be read if you enjoy fantasy. Get a book and take a ride.
