The Prophecy of the Heron by Craig W. Stanfill is the second book in the series. It is divided into three sections that are called Exile, Shadows and The Maelstrom. The book tells the story of Creator Kim who is stuck between the Hierarchy and artificial intelligences, commonly called AIs. The plot takes place in the future. The Hierarchy and other big corporations are ruling the world by using AIs as slaves for all the dirty work. What are the intentions of the Hierarchy? What does the Director want from Kim? What are Als truly?

The story line continues where the first book, Terms of Service, finished. There are many adventure events awaiting Kim in the Exile. There are so many plot twists and many times there is no way one could see them coming. I truly enjoyed reading this second book and I do not regret any single second I spent reading it. I like the writing style of Craig W. Stanfill. It was easy to read for me. Whenever I encountered a special technical word, I was able to understand it easily from the book's context.

Detailed descriptions of places and things. I’m not sure if I should say that this is a negative aspect of the book because at the same time I really enjoyed it. However, it is a very important part of the book. Without it I would be lost in the numerous places Kim has visited. As I read, I noticed some minor profanity in the direct speech or thoughts of characters. I had to admit, however, that this light profanity made me sympathize with Kim's character.

It was a very enjoyable book for me. If I had a chance to reread Terms of Service and The Prophecy of the Heron for the first time again, count me in. I’m looking forward to reading any other book written by Craig W. Stanfill because I love his writing style and the plot lines of those two books were written excellently. I have found no spelling errors or other grammatical errors. I would like to give this book 5 out of 5 stars for all the great things I've listed above and the joy I've experienced while reading it.

First of all I would recommend readers read the first book, Terms of Service. Because with her you will be able to understand the world of AI much better. In addition, you will see all the reasons for the actions Kim takes on her journey in the book. The reason for this is that as you read the book, you will be interested in learning more about AIs in Kim's world. I would recommend this book to a reader who enjoys the utopian world genre. I’m sure no reader will be disappointed after reading this book. The story has so many great moments, wonderful plot twists, that you'll want to keep on reading.
