Galen wanted to be much more than a casualty of war. He did not know what he wanted to be yet, but I knew he did not want to die because of a war he knew nothing about. Galen prayed for some deity to save his life. Rowan arrived in Galen’s country when the war was at an all-time high. He was there to fetch his client’s heir and had no plans to overstay his welcome. As luck would have it, Galen was the man Rowan was looking for. This was an answer to the desperate prayers Galen offered up every day. Now Galen must journey to Voulhire to claim what is his. With no idea what this new country holds for him, he excitedly boards the ship that will take him to his new home. What adventures will Galen be forced to embark on when he gets to Voulhire?

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies differs from your average adventure novel. For starters, it is not a standalone novel. It is the first book in the We are Voulhire series. It does not have the cliché adventure plot that features a charming prince and a damsel in distress. That is what I liked most about it. Its story is very different from the rest. It shows how good can be easily defeated. It also showed me that things are not always as they seem. I know that the story in this book showed me just the tip of the drama all the characters in it will have to go through. I loved every page of it.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies was written from two points of view. Galen had the good fortune of telling his story by himself. The rest of the characters had their stories told by the author. This arrangement sat well with me because it gave me something I had never seen before. I also liked the depth that Matthew Tysz, the author, gave to everything he wrote about in We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. I did not dislike even one thing about it, and I am happy to mention that.

As I have already said, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is totally free of elements that will make it possible to dislike it. Since I have nothing negative to say about this brain-bursting book, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I cannot imagine rating it lower because it checked all the boxes of a good book. Lastly, it was edited exceptionally.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is an adventure novel with many twists. I recommend it to readers who love unconventional adventure novels. The kind of unconventional novel I am talking about is the type where it seems like evil men can defeat good ones in a face-off. The story it tells is bound to keep the readers entertained and entrapped until it ends.
