Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
Matthew Tysz is the author of this exciting science and fictional book that has its central idea focused on the Voulhire empire. Throughout Galen's life, he had always lived a stressful life full of suffering, hard labor, and struggles. The land suffered due to wars among the king's four sons. Suddenly, Galen got a request from his uncle to come over to the land of the Voulhire Kingdom, a fantastic land full of diverse opportunities. He was over joyous when he discovered he was about to escape the negativities in the Land of the Princes and moved to Magnum Caelum. Galen's happiness knew no bounds when he finally arrived at Voulhire; he had always expected the Voulhire Kingdom to be a place to enjoy a lot of freedom, opportunities, and better life.
Lord Eldus used to be a judge but was later selected as the new ruler of Hillport by the king. King Wilhelm trusted Loed Eldus to bring massive growth and development to this new land of Hillport King Wilhelm told him to possess. Another news was seriously making waves about Lord Meldorath still being alive. Was Meldorath genuinely dead? Was Voulhire indeed the promised land Galen had always expected? While reading Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies, many things interested me. The young Galen is the main character of this book. Hence the author made sure he told the story of Galen as the protagonist and main character. I enjoyed how the different characters developed into important characters across the book. The growth in the characters also helped me understand the storylines much better. The brief explanations of these various characters in every chapter aided in molding their awareness in my mind. The author thoroughly wrote the book with an excellent choice of words. The plot and setting were very well built, most amazingly with the presence of creativity.
Additionally, the tension I discovered in this book makes it more thrilling. I enjoyed the suspense I felt while reading about the Kingdom of Voulhire. I sincerely thought about the hidden agenda of the people perpetuating evil in the land and wished it could never come to pass. The full description the author used to explain certain scenes amazed me. The author's suggestion on how best to use negotiation in solving an issue within a society rather than using wars gave this book an advantage.
I did not see any negative aspects in this book while reading it. The author thoroughly wrote the book and it was exceptionally well-edited, with no grammatical mistakes. Hence, I'm rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I also recommend this book to people who love to read fantastic tales with fictional characters.
