Review of Terms of Service
Everyone dreams of living simply. Imagine a stress-free existence where machines are at our disposal, but have we ever paused to consider the repercussions? Craig W. Stanfill's science fiction novel Terms of Service provides a glimpse into the world that we have all envisaged. Adventure, friendship, and love are all depicted in this book.
comfortable in every way and professionally successful. Nevertheless, Kim continued to feel void and as though something were missing from her life. Kim was a competent employee, but when she wasn't working, she was just a typical young woman who followed all the rules. Although she had a difficult upbringing, she seems to have overcome it to become a nice person as an adult. She loved her job as an artificial intelligence trainer and was always careful not to break any rules, but her best friend Shan was a contrast to everything she was. Shan was carefree, wild, and curious, and her curiosity led them to discover a town that was not controlled by artificial intelligence, which was in fact a direct contrast to all they knew and believed in. Grab a copy of the book to find out more about her experiences as an individual, with friends, and, more importantly, the aftermath of all her actions.
I adored the author's use of his own universe. It's an interesting book. It was fascinating to read about smart gadgets that carry out instructions. Another aspect of the book that I adored was VR. Reading about how you could see anybody you wanted or go to any event you wanted while relaxing in the comfort of your own home was thrilling. I also adore the book's author's ability to narrate in great depth. The character in the novel I like the most is Shan. She could come off as overly daring, yet despite living in a world run entirely by artificial intelligence, she has the courage to follow her heart.
I really believe that the emphasis on the pairing process was overdone, even though asking for and gaining consent is a wonderful thing. It's none of our business what a couple chooses to do in the booth. I get the authors' desire to be gender-neutral, but I believe individuals should be free to choose the partners they mate with rather than being labeled predators simply because they like a particular type. Also, I object to the author's overuse of the feminine pronoun; I understand that he made a note to that effect, but it was still hard for me to cope with it while reading the book.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. because there were no errors. The book was superbly edited, and I conclude by recommending it to all fans of science fiction and technology.
