Galen had high hopes for Voulhire when he left the war-torn land of the prince, hoping it would be everything his homeland was not. In the land of the princes, people merely survived and were unable to enjoy fulfilling lives due to the endless war. However, upon arriving in Voulhire, Galen was pleasantly surprised to discover a prosperous and peaceful land. Nonetheless, he soon realized that this peace was relative, and the new land had its own secrets and dangers lurking in the dark.

Mathew Tysz’s We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is an impressive work of fiction that draws readers in with its vivid descriptions and captivating storyline. The author’s use of imagery is so precise that readers can effortlessly imagine the settings and characters. Tysz provides a map of Voulhire at the beginning of the book, serving as a guide for readers to keep track of the different towns and cities.
