We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a brilliant novel by Matthew Tysz. The story takes place in Hillport. Hillport is a city in Voulhire. Its former 2 rulers were cruel and evil. They both were dead and now there was another king in Hillport who was wiser than the previous ones. He investigates the connection the evil rulers had with the city children and how they were tortured by them. Lord Meldorath was one of those evil kings and one of the most dangerous and sinister mages in Voulhire. The story continues, secrets are revealed about Hillport and war breaks out between the kingdoms. Unaware of all these things there was a boy named Galen who was looking for something else. He moved to Voulhire after his uncle's death. He was on a different adventure with his companion Roewan. He encountered mages and other secrets hiding in the place.

The story is fantastic and I love it. The use of vocabulary is also wonderful. I liked all the characters in the story and how they developed over time. I loved Eldus' character who was a very kind and intelligent king. He always sticks to his morals and values. He is a remarkable person and a good father. I was very inspired by his character. He loved his people and his family. He also wanted to help the children tortured by the previous Lords.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. It was well written and presented. I am a big fan of fiction novels so this book was exactly right for me. In each chapter, there was something new, which made the book more engaging.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it is wonderful. It is one of the most excellent books I have read so far. It is absolutely flawless and well-edited. The characters are very well developed. They are so brave and each has their own journey to share. The writer created a magical world and it all seems real and lively.

For fans of fiction and magic books, I highly recommend this book. There are kingdoms, mages, secrets, and war in this book. This is a wonderful story that takes us on a magical journey. I finished the book within a week as it was very interesting and captivating. I cannot wait to read the second part of the story and know what happened in Voulhire afterward.

I am interested to read your review and although I disagree on some aspects, I do agree it is a monumental undertaking by Tysz and the has a lot of creativity in coming up with the characters and making an entire universe. I found it a challenge to keep up with the different storylines and the jumping between characters in each chapter contributed to that. Thank you for your review. It is most interesting.
