This book is part of a six part series. This is such a page turner and so hard to put down. It has all the things that a good fantasy should; a hero who's life and values are completely turned upside down by the discovery of a forgotten prophecy, the women destined to love the hero while he searches to find his true self, and a country on the precipice of war to try to reunite three races under one ruling. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys outlandish creatures, lots of action filled battles and a great story.

I also enjoyed this series. I have reread the entire series multiple times. I love the fact that this series interconnects with "The Glass Pyramid" series is awesome. Sara Douglass did a great job. "The Wayfarer Redemption" has made me read all of her work. I highly recommend this book series and author to anyone.
