Matthew Tysz's novel We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies transports readers to a fascinating yet unstable universe. Magical in the sense that both good and evil are vying for control of their worlds. Although the good works to restore balance and ensure a haven for their people, the evil seems to want it all for themselves. Due to what they had to deal with in the past, which seems to be deeply ingrained in their memories, it is a troubled world.

The fight for control that resulted in the death of the Lord of Hillport was depicted in a previous scene. In the present, we learned how Galen left the Land of Princes, searching for a better life for himself. Being completely inexperienced, he was led by a trusted uncle buddy. The king of Voulhire, who was responsible for the kingdom, felt uneasy about some aspects of it, so he entrusted his friend with taking care of them. He must demonstrate in each of these that he is equally qualified to manage the kingdom.

A lot was included in this novel, including a struggle for peace and independence, a magnificent fantasy, and a stunning and uncharted universe. Matthew Tysz's We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies introduced a lot of meaningful, powerful, and emotional characters to the readers. I adored how the author seamlessly merged the past and the present to create a wonderful story for the readers to read. Probably the most intriguing aspect of the novel is the villain's expression or persona. I find it to be the most exciting and entertaining. There is no way to compare the way the author described Lord Meldorath. He exuded the kind of menace, authority, and serenity that one would expect from a villain. He demonstrated a level of power that nobody anticipated, and that is what I mean when I say he was unpredictable.

There was not a single thing about this book that I would say I disliked. The characters, plot, presentation of their vast and magnificent realm, and unpredictable nature of the book did not let the author down. The author showed so much happening from three separate points of view, but I was in no way puzzled by it. I could understand all three points of view and what they were experiencing. I would give the book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because of its amazing plot, characters, descriptions, and unpredictable events. It was also exceptionally well-edited.

I would suggest this book to those who enjoy adventure and struggles for dominance. This book is for you if you want to see an exciting, frightful, and unpredictable villain.

I always love a story with a crafty villain that shapes your hopes and thoroughly delivers. It seems like a great pick.

I like a story about good triumphing over evil, which most of them are. This one seems to have lots of people struggling for just that. It’ good that there are so many characters willing to help Galen.
