Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a fantasy novel that follows the story of Galen Bray, a young man from a humble background who learns that he has been named a beneficiary in his late uncle's estate. Delighted with the new opportunity life has given him, Galen relocates from his hometown, The Lands of the Princes, to Magnum Caelum in Voulhire, where he hopes to build a better life for himself by continuing his uncle's legacy and becoming a blacksmith. In another part of Voulhire, Eldus is made Lord of Hillport, a town previously ruled by two vile lords, Orlin and Meldorath. The king believes in Lord Eldus' ability to bring the town back to life and restore happiness to its residents. The book explores the magical powers possessed by various characters, including Marshus, the son of Lord Eldus, who is practicing his skills and intends to use them for the good of the town. As the story unfolds, readers are taken on an action-packed journey through Voulhire, filled with interesting characters and incidents that will keep them engaged until the very end.
One of the most positive aspects of the book is the author's ability to create a captivating plot. The events in the book are well thought out and move along at a steady pace, ensuring that readers remain hooked from beginning to end. Additionally, the characters in the book are unique and well developed, making them easy to connect with and root for as the story progresses. The magical powers possessed by various characters add another layer of interest to the plot, making the book all the more intriguing.
I could not find any negative aspects of this book. The book is exceptionally well-written, with no grammatical errors or inconsistencies that would detract from the reader's experience. The author's writing style is straightforward and easy to follow, making it simple for readers to keep track of the events in the book. The editing is also top-notch, ensuring that the book is free from errors and flows seamlessly from one chapter to the next.
