Greetings from a place filled with enchantment, intrigue, and excitement! We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies which is the first book in Matthew Tysz's series. Galen Bray's predicament, in which he is fleeing his native land in search of a better life in the Kingdom of Voulhire, is the subject of the story's first chapter. When he arrives, Galen takes possession of the forge that his late uncle left him as part of his inheritance. Everybody knows that Voulhire is acclaimed as a prosperous country entering its "golden age," yet power-hungry dissenters are springing up all around the kingdom, thus unrest is developing beneath the surface of this wonderful region. The parallel realm of Caromentis likewise mingled with the drama and lunacy of the kingdom's real world and beckoned people who were looking for its ethereal beauties.

Lord Orlin and Lord Meldorath decimated the economy of the coastal town of Hillport, and King Wilhelm dispatched Lord Eldus to restore it. He is another new character introduced to us. The story's antagonist is the formidable mage Lord Meldorath, and occurrences in Hillport move the plot along.

I adore reading series, so I was happy to see that it was a part of one. It was written in a novel fashion by Matthew Tysz. It was impressive how he organized the book's chapters. Each chapter was given a title that identified the subject of the chapter. Just by reading the chapter's title, it was clear whose character Matthew Tysz would emphasize. The book's compelling plot and character development are still another plus. Some of the characters entered the plot with such gusto and vigor. Lord Meldorah is one illustration. I only witnessed a small portion of his magical prowess when he appeared at Castle Hillport in the prologue to the novel. I was intrigued to read this book just based on that. My mindset was positively altered as a result. I had no complaints. Galen, for example, did not start off as strongly as some other characters. I wasn't even aware of Galen's potential at first, but Matthew Tysz gradually educated me on the kind of person Galen was as time went on.

There was nothing about the book that I didn't like; it was interesting to read. It's a genuinely great novel that captivated me from beginning to end. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I also want to emphasize what a strong beginning this book had. I also appreciated how thoroughly the author explored each character's past. The language in this book is excellent.

Because it was well-written and enjoyable, I gave this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It was very well edited because it included no typos or grammatical problems. I will recommend this book to lovers of historical fiction.

This is an interesting review. Galen seems like a formidable character who'd ensure Voulhire kingdom thrives. Well done for this review.

We are Voulhire is an interesting dark historical novel. It follows a young man, Galen, as he make some changes in his life. I wished there had been more stories on Galen though.

I am also a fan of this book. I enjoyed the story, and by the time I got to the end, I was sure I wanted to read the subsequent books. I look forward to reading about how Galen is connected to everything, and if he will eventually encounter Lord Meldorath.

Reading your review, I couldn't help but imagine what the places mentioned in your review looked like. They sound fictional, yet too real. I think I must read this book now.

I love books that discuss the use of magical powers. And Lord Meldorah seems to possess a powerful magic that would bring his rivals to their knees. Thanks for a nice review.
