Review of Bed of Rose and Thorns
[Following is a volunteer review of "Bed of Rose and Thorns" by Lee Hunt.]
Bed of Rose and Thorns by Lee Hunt is a science fiction novel with a mix of romance. The story is centered around Ezra, an Elysian Bell who was banished eleven years ago after murdering the prince of Erle. Ezra falls in love with Rachel, Lady Kristen's daughter, but is reminded of every moment he spent with the Queen by her long blonde hair. Ezra tries to control his feelings, but his chiming lures women around him, causing them to lust after him. Lady Kristen rescinds his banishment and asks him to be her "Senechal." Ezra takes a journey to the Queendom with Pontes to protect the Queen from her enemies. The last secret Ezra confessed to the Queen about understanding is a great reminder of the bedrock of friendship.
I was completely captivated by this book and found myself unable to put it down.
