We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a clever and thrilling work of science fiction. It tells the tale of an impoverished refugee from the Lands of the Princes who receives an inheritance in the prosperous and mighty kingdom of Voulhire. When Galen Bray inherited a forge from his great-uncle, he was a beginner at forging. While in the Voilehre, he encounters several individuals who help him. One of them functioned as his uncle's executor while learning about the company, so they traveled to modernize the forge. Living in Magnum was different from his war-torn country.

Soon after, they encounter several unexpected difficulties, and odd things occur in Voulhire. Galen's objectives are a pipe dream in light of the dreadful unknown occurrences happening across the realm. Rowan will help Galen learn more about his inheritance so he may continue his great-uncle's business and settle into his new house.

I liked the book since it was fascinating and thrilling to read. This book's plot twists increased its interest; the author did a great job. I like the premise of this book, and I commend the author for his originality and writing style. I like that the author included a map for the book's readers. Thanks to the map, I found the narrative simpler to follow and felt more at home in the book. The reference section at the back of the book was quite helpful in understanding the novel's complex and surprising ideas.

I found the book's slow start and overabundance of background material annoying. Another problem is that the book mentions a lot of personalities and concepts, making it difficult to keep track of them all. Apart from that, however, I enjoyed reading this book. I was fascinated by the narrative since it took several fascinating twists. It was enjoyable to read a book this amazing and insightful. I enjoyed every minute I read about the mages. Lord Meldorath was quickly my best character. It has been a long time since I have seen an antagonist well-developed. I hope to see more of him in the next book.

The book was fascinating and outstanding. It was enjoyable from start to finish. I gave this book five out of five since it was well-written and engrossing to read. It was carefully edited since, to my knowledge, there were no grammatical or other flaws.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a book I suggest to anyone who likes reading science fiction and fantasy.
