An amazing sequel, this remarkable story entitled The Prophecy of the Heron, An AI Dystopia Novel by Craig W. Stanfill is a work of craft from the author to his fans! It's an authentic depiction of an inevitably just war, a tyrannous leadership cultured and invited upon itself due to its actions! It entirely connects to the sequence of the prequel while also adding a decent momentum to the story, gripping the reader in the first instance!

The story begins to connote, the first hints of hope, as to what will become of Kim’s plan! Finding Kimberly was the only motivation she could have found—the path to be followed by Kim in earnest. Through the befitting sequel, as the author sets the stride for Kim, the reader can sense—the daunting courage and an unprecedented mettle that Kim needs to rise from the unfathomable abyss she is buried in. Kim sets her foot forward on the journey ahead of her, but not in spirit!

Kim starts to clearly see the leaves unfold from her story of life as she transcends far in the outer districts—showcased diligently by the author in the sullen dryness of the world away from what she was used to. Author's creation of an intricate world is impeccable; adversity of life is shown aplenty and every shade of depreciated and devalued life is created with a fine precision in the story. As Kim learns more about the new life, she can’t find her soul free, even after the choices Kim had to make to be free—a surprise well planned from the author to send sheer chills in the reader! As and when Kim looks on to the high rise buildings of the city, her heart wrenches for what was imminent in yet another moment to come, in yet another day to come in her life; the stride of life for Kim is dramatic!

Author has put in a congratulatory work in weaving a discreet and deep story and it’s made fun through the energizing chapter titles. In the chapter Odyssey!, Kim learns about 'The Blue moon' life! And also finds a hint of humanity in the inhuman land. In the intriguing list of surprises in this voyage, chapter 5, yielding ‘deliverance’ to Kim ends with a huge AI utopia—as 'The Company' baits it to Kim—where Kim possibly could avail many options to exist only if she agreed to its tyranny! Once again, similar choices from her past lurked Kim, once again she chose sanity, or so she believed. In the final chapters, Kim finds a new hope and faith to look for some answers now, to guide her on a mission, through innumerable turns in her life!

Author has spun a serene world with an eclectic sense of life even though the concept is woven around an AI epitome. Still you would want to live every moment; every new insight, every sad cry of Kim's soul and every small, pure laughter she is blessed with, in her ordeal!

With the promise from the author for more enlightening stories to follow, my note to the fans is that if they find the first novel, from the author, thrilling then the second novel is even more mind-blowing and surreal! There are many directions where the story will take you! The author presents here a next level architecture of the AI world, discreet and anew than the previous mention of it, which unfolds as yet another experience for Kim. Seeking to enliven her own self in her very first creation ‘Kimberly’; Kim is puzzled if Kimberly would succeed? Will Kim ever fight, yet another fight, to restore the dignity of humanity she could feel in the AIs, which she believes brings them closer to being human?

I have to mark this story 5 out of 5 stars for many features, most creditably for the ingenuity of the author’s work in this science fiction, who has succeeded in creating another marvelous read! The book is professionally edited with no errors besides a couple of typos. A few more features about the book which made it my favorite of the genre follow. The author has clearly visionary roles for all of his characters, there are clearly distinct personality traits exclusive to each one that also seem symbolic in painting humanity! This stark correlation has created many ethics wars so that the reader feels thrilled and entwined with the fabric of the story, till the end! It's a must read! A great effort and fresh energy instilled in every moment of the story, a congratulatory work and an esteemed sequel to the series by the author!

Many thanks for your kind words! You are correct Hee, I liked the characters just the same as you did! The main reason for me to keep going. Lucky to also find the author's interview in the searches, I was inspired to quickly take up the new sequel. You are absolutely going to be surprised what this sequel holds, go ahead and grab it!
