We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a fictional book and the first in the series of We are Voulhire; it is merely an introduction to the series.

The author starts his readers off with the escape of Galen Bray from the Land of Princes, which was harsh and torn with war. Galen traveled to Voulhire in the city of Magnum Caelum. He came to discover that his uncle was a great blacksmith in that city and that he had left all his inheritance to Galen. He was also assigned to Rowan, who would teach him mastery of Blacksmith to continue his uncle’s legacy. In this new city, Galen discovered how everything was different from the Land of Princes, different in how people lived and the advancement of the new place.
The author also explained the events occurring in the city of Voulhire with the many characters, including the new lord of Hillport, lord Eldus Alderman, who is determined to develop the southern town: King Wilhelm (king of Voulhire) and lord Meldorath and the rumors going on about him.

The book contains many characters that are well-developed by the author. Since I cannot mention all of them and the roles they played, I would advise you to read it for yourself.

I liked the plotting of the book because it made it easier to read and understand. The author also described most of his characters at the book's beginning, making it easier for me as a reader to understand. At the end of the novel, Matthew Tysz also provides his readers with a reference guide that explains the difficult terms in the book.

We Are Voulhire was professionally edited, as I did not encounter any grammatical mistakes, and it also had a perfect flow. I rate it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. I disliked nothing while reading this book, so I have no negative feedback.

This book would be fit for those who love the fantasy genre. Those who like fantasies about magic can also find We Are Vuolhire: A New Arrival under Skies enthralling. However, I would not recommend this book to persons under 18 due to the abusive behavior and murder scenes present.
