"We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" is a captivating debut novel by Matthew Tysz. It is an epic fantasy that introduces us to the kingdom of Voulhire, a land divided by class, magic, and ambition.
The story revolves around Arcturus, a young man who wakes up in Voulhire with no memories of his past life. As he navigates the unfamiliar terrain, he encounters various characters, including a peasant girl, a witch, a prince, and a dragon. As he learns more about the kingdom, he discovers that he might hold the key to Voulhire's future and must decide where his loyalties lie.
One of the most impressive aspects of this book is its world-building. Tysz has created a rich and intricate world filled with political intrigue, magic, and diverse characters. The author has a talent for descriptive prose, and the reader is easily transported to the different parts of Voulhire.
