We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is the debut series written by Matthew Tysz. The story is set in various universes that are governed by magic, science, and supernatural forces, specifically in Voulhire, a country ruled by mankind and considered to be the cultural and economic leader among all human-governed nations.

The book begins with a fearful king who assigns each of his four sons an island to rule to prevent them from plotting against him. The resulting conflict among the princes leads to devastation in their land. From a peaceful land, the main character, Galen, emerges. Galen is a young man who fled his homeland due to war and decides to visit his uncle in Magnum Caelum. However, upon arrival, he discovers that his uncle has passed away and left him all his property and business. Galen is fascinated by the seemingly idyllic land of Voulhire, though he soon discovers that it is not as perfect as it seems. The book's themes include mystery, adventure, and science, as Galen uncovers the facade of perfection in Voulhire. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy and adventure stories.

The descriptive writing style of the author in the book is impressive and makes it easy to visualize the story and the map of the land. The build-up for the supposed antagonist is thorough and well done, creating a sense of anticipation for the reader. The contrasting personalities of the characters are also well-developed and make for an interesting dynamic. The prefiguration adds a layer of intrigue to the story and keeps the reader engaged as the mysteries unfold. Lastly, the author's ability to bring the characters to life is admirable and adds to the immersive experience of reading the book.

There was nothing that I didn't enjoy about the book. Its plot was excellent, the setting was very realistic, and the author's writing style and structure were amazing. The story was straightforward to follow, and there was no ambiguity in the narrative. I would recommend this book to anyone fond of fantasy, mystery, sci-fi, and, most importantly, adventure, particularly adults. The book is also suitable for those who appreciate both fiction and non-fiction books.

I gave the book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars, as it presents a well-crafted narrative that seamlessly blends elements of mystery, adventure, and science. Moreover, the book explores themes that revolve around mystery, adventure, and science fiction. It is worth mentioning that the book was exceptionally well-edited and free from errors.
