Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
Matthew Tysz's We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is the inaugural instalment of a trilogy in the fantasy and science fiction genre. It imparts knowledge to the younger generation on harnessing their creative faculties. The novel can impact the contemporary world in various domains, such as language, politics, law, education, philosophy, science, warfare, poetry, historiography, ethics, art, and architecture, by offering a vision of what the world could be.
This is a fantasy/sci-fi novel that serves as the first instalment of a trilogy. It teaches young people how to tap into their creative potential by introducing them to the multiverse of Voulhire. The story unfolds from the perspectives of various characters who are dealing with the aftermath of a powerful lord's death. Galen Bray, one of four sons of a monarch in the Land of Princes, sets out on a journey to Magnum Caelum in Voulhire, hoping to escape a bleak future. When he reaches his destination, he discovers that his uncle, who lived in Voulhire, has passed away and left him his entire estate. This book has the potential to influence various aspects of the modern world, such as language, politics, law, education, philosophy, science, warfare, poetry, historiography, ethics, art, and architecture.
The plot of this book was engrossing, and I found myself quickly drawn in. Before starting the book, I had several questions that intrigued me, and my interest was piqued from the outset. The multiple perspectives utilized in the book kept me addicted to reading. I relish novels that employ this technique, and this one certainly did not disappoint. The political intrigue surrounding the countries and the king's sons vying for the throne was captivating. The schemes and machinations kept me fascinated throughout. The conclusion was particularly impressive, leaving me virtually speechless. The final scenes were truly outstanding.
I disliked nothing about this book. This book was truly remarkable, and the changing perspectives in each chapter added to its overall excellence. The numerous characters and their diverse experiences kept me thoroughly engaged and provided a stimulating mental challenge. The author's ability to effectively convey the message was truly impressive. The book was exceptionally well-edited and error-free.
I gave the book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars thanks to its excellent plot, well-designed setting, and outstanding writing style and structure. It is a perfect recommendation for readers who enjoy immersing themselves in the world of fantasy and science fiction, featuring multi-dimensional characters and intricate plots. Young readers seeking to stimulate their creativity and expand their imaginative horizons would find this book especially suitable. Moreover, individuals interested in stories that delve into political intrigue, ethical dilemmas, and philosophical concepts will also find this book engaging.
