In the multiverse where this narrative takes place, Voulhire is a prosperous country. Like any other country, it has its own politics, constitution, and diverse population. The country is divided into several regions, with Soulhire as the capital. Galen Bray moves to Voulhire from the Land of the Princes (a neighboring country) to take over his great uncle's steel enterprise in Magnum Caelum. He is astounded at how different Voulhire is from the Land of the Princes. We get to see the country through his eyes. This is the first book of a continuous series, and it serves as a solid foundation for the tale. The plot is fully developed; it is action-packed, easy to follow, and humorous.

Everything in this book appealed to me. Sci-fi books may be complicated and overpowering at times, and I didn't have high hopes for this one either. But, to my surprise, the book left me wishing for more of the story. I'm curious about Galen's situation. Is he as innocent as he appears to be? What will become of Riva Rohavi? Needless to say, I'm reading the remaining novels in the story. I'm amazed at how Matthew Tsyz came up with the concepts, character names, nation names, and locations in the novel. This author is extremely gifted.

This book gets 5 out of 5 stars from me. This is because once I entered the realm of Voulhire, I couldn't leave until the very end. Also, the story flows well, and the characters are all very charismatic; I struggled to dislike any of them. Finally, the plot of the story is rich and captivating.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is for everybody who enjoys science fiction novels and movies. Readers who believe in the multiverse hypothesis will enjoy learning about a new magical multiverse realm in this book.
