We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, authored by Matthew Tysz, immerses readers in a mesmerizing realm of fantasy as it guides them through an enthralling expedition to an unfamiliar world. Within the pages of this novel, we witness the journey of an immigrant who, despite striving to distance himself from a forsaken past, is inadvertently plunged into a realm brimming with adventure and peril.

I greatly appreciated the authenticity of the characters, as they felt strikingly lifelike, almost as if one were encountering them in person. Particularly, the main character stood out as exceptionally realistic, with the narrative unfolding from their perspective, allowing readers to delve deep into their thoughts and emotions. The protagonist's inner world reflected relatable sentiments and musings that anyone could have on an ordinary day. Instead of possessing extraordinary abilities or being excessively exceptional, they were genuinely believable.
