We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, is a fictional book. We learn about the characters in this science fiction book through their backstories. Galen Bray, the main character, spent the first half of his existence on the “Land of the Princes,” a war-torn island. He went to Voulhire to take over his uncle's firm. When he arrived, he met Rowan, his uncle's executor, who taught and guided him about his great-uncle's business. Some characters that Matthew Tysz introduced were crucial to this intriguing piece of art. King Wilhelm, a king in charge of Voulhire, is credited with the success of the city. In good times and bad, people look up to him.

The initial introductions to the characters in each chapter by the author, which give the tale direction as you read through, are my favorite section of the book. The adventure Galen Bray has as a visitor to Voulhire to learn more about the locals and the city is what I enjoy the most. The author's explanation of every detail of the key locations of the kingdom, including history and nature, fascinated me. Most of the book's main characters had good character development, and the author did a good job of conjuring up vivid images in the readers' minds by giving his depictions of people and places great detail. The inclusion of a map at the book's opening was beneficial because it helped the reader envision the location where the story takes place. I adore how the plot develops subtly, presenting each character and enabling the reader to fully connect with them all. What's even more astounding is how hard the author worked to make each character appealing and believable.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book. It was well-written and intriguing to read. Although it bothered me that certain chapters were written in the first person while others were written in the third, apart from that, I enjoyed every aspect of it. For the reader's convenience, the author included definitions and references. I am happy that I came across such a fascinating and engaging book like this one.

The writing is clear and concise. The lack of typos and grammatical problems in the book also gave the impression that it had been exceptionally edited. As a result, I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, 5 out of 5 stars.

I am recommending this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, to people who enjoy science fiction and fantasy.
