Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, is a fantasy book combining elements of science fiction and adventure. The exploits of a variety of characters, who are all connected to the country of Voulhire, are chronicled in this tale. Galen resides in the Lands of the Princes, but due to unfavorable circumstances, such as a war erupting among the emperor's sons, the tranquility of the Lands of the Princes' residents is disturbed. Galen is eager to begin a new life and has traveled far from the land of princes to the big city of Voulhire after receiving an inheritance letter from his uncle. Galen's great-uncle, who was living in the Kingdom of Voulhire, passed away, leaving Galen as the only heir to his property. Realizing this possibility, Galen thinks that now is the perfect time to relocate to the Kingdom of Voulhire and start a new life there. Rowan, who also served as the executor of his uncle's inheritance, travels with Galen through the Kingdom of Voulhire.
I adore how the book flows right away, describing how the kingdom came to be and how the conflict got started. The book's author was able to extract a variety of images. I was entranced, as if I were witnessing it in real time. I adore the writing style as well as the techniques used to make the book simple to understand, like the maps and the positions that each character plays at the beginning of the book. The chapter's name was specified in detail. The book's title and cover are both wonderful. It already contains a summary of the plot. The fascinating narrative and various plot turns were enjoyable. I admire the author's originality.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and engaging. Although, to facilitate effective reading, the book lacks a table of contents, apart from that, it was a great book to read. The author uses clear, easy-to-follow language that is simple to understand. The author does a good job of setting the mood for these moments by giving the reader a clear image of what is happening and describing them in incredible detail. I really enjoyed the book's pace.
I enjoyed reading this book. Furthermore, I did not find any grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. As a result, I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, 5 out of 5 stars.
I would recommend the book to readers who enjoy fantasy fiction.
