Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
Galen was filled with joy when he was aboard a ship that was sailing to Voulhire. He would be finally free and not have to live in fear anymore. His country had been at war for so long. But this was a new start, and Galen was pumped for his future. Unknown to him, Voulhire was not the promised land he thought it was. It was relatively peaceful, but that did not mean that war was not coming. Galen would soon discover the bitter truth about this country and the people who sought to destroy it.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is the first book in the We are Voulhire series. It is filled with magic, sword-bearing warriors, and ordinary people like Galen, whose only wish is to catch a break from life's cruel tricks. This book is the complete package for me because it is both entertaining and thought-provoking. The last part was important because it raised many questions about the motives of men and the limits of gods or deities.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is not one of those books that answers all your questions in one go. It left me with many questions by the time I was done reading it. I think this was brilliant because that would guarantee that I read its sequel and, subsequently, all nine books in the series. Matthew Tysz made me question Meldorath's motives and the justification for his incarceration. He made me wonder about the true story of Galen's past and how he was able to survive for so long. I also thought a lot about Rowan's past and if he had always been the annoying, funny man that he was in the story. Overall, the fact that this story made me want to know more about Galen and all the other characters made me love this book so much. It is what I have come to like most about We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies.
Errors were nonexistent in We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. I know this is rare to see, but Matthew Tysz did that. He edited it flawlessly, and I think he deserves some accolades. I am truly impressed by how well-arranged everything in the book is. I am so impressed that I did not dislike anything at all in it. Thus, because it had no negative aspects, I have decided to rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I can't give it a lower rating because Matthew Tysz made sure it was perfect in every way.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies falls into the category of fantasy. Thus, I recommend it to readers who love fantasy novels filled with suspense and intriguing plots. Such readers should be ready to commit to the whole series because I believe it will be nothing short of mind-blowing.
