I won't post another whole review, so let me just say, I just finished reading Being Medusa, and I recommend it.

Instead of a review, in this topic I want to have a discussion of Being Medusa for those who have read it. The questions will be in bold, and my answers will be in regular text. If you are feeling tl;dr then just skip the next 3 paragraphs and jump to the bolded questions and give us your answers. Or if you have not read Being Medusa, get it now!

As almost everyone knows, A. Lynn Powers is a member of this forum ( @ALynnPowers ). Please realize, she did not pay for publicity or anything. I'm sure many of you realize it's often business concerns (or to discuss the book of the month) that gets me to emerge for spottings from my nerd cave.

However, @ALynnPowers carefully follows our anti-spam rules that prohibit authors from trying to plug their own books. In fact when escapeartist reviewed her book she was the only person who questioned it. Hey, I wouldn't be surprised if she reports this post to the forum moderators. Since @ALynnPowers is also one of our best reviewers, she chose to continue doing that rather than ever submit her books for review, which would prohibit her from continuing to be a reviewer (because the policies of our review team are so strict to avoid potential conflicts of interest and maintain the integrity and thus reliability of the reviews).

Okay, I'm rambling. The point is a feel bad for @ALynnPowers especially since she is such a valued long-time member of the community and because I consider her as a personal friend met through this Online Book Club. And most of all because I just read her book and really enjoyed it. So I want to start a discussion of her book since she is such a good lady and since she won't start one herself again since she is such a good lady.
