We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz introduces readers to the fascinating new world of knights and traitors, kings, and court intrigues. The author brilliantly describes this fantastical world and its entire towns. The best nation in all of existence is Voulhire. The Kingdom of Princes was the place where Galen Bary was raised. A formerly beautiful and glorious city that is now destroyed by conflict and poverty. Galen gets invited by his uncle to stay at Voulhire.

On reaching Voulhire, Galen discovers that his uncle is dead but has willed his business to him. He then inherits his uncle's steel forging business. The story also focuses on the city of Hilport, where Lord Meldorath became Lord of Hilport after he killed Lord Orlin on charges of defiling little children. Lord Meldorath was also arrested three months later on the king's orders, and he was charged with the killing of the former Lord. A new lord is appointed to the city of Hilport, but the question remains: will he succeed?

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a tale of atonement and conflict. This tale examines a nation that is home to royalty, princes, fishermen, mages, soldiers, and religious individuals. The book has several interesting storylines, all of which are included in the book. This book also shows a world divided into two: the rich and the poor. The rich, besides being privileged, still show constant greed for more.
What I liked about the book: I liked how the book started with tension and action; I loved how each character grew into the story; and despite the twists in the story, it was very understandable. The events were satisfactorily described. The book was excellently edited. Therefore, I also did not find any errors. I disliked nothing about the book. I rate this book five out of five stars, and this book clearly shows that it was professionally edited.

I will recommend this book to lovers of fantasy, magic, and crime. There are no explicit scenes, but highly violent situations. The full version was fascinating and better with the altered parts. More thoughtful introductions to characters have been made. The dialogue felt authentic, with a solid flow of words. The incidents were adequately described. The book was nicely edited. As a result, I did not find anything objectionable about the narrative's use of violence. Readers who enjoy stories from other worlds will enjoy We Are Voulhire. Despite being part of a series, the novel may be read alone.
