<r>The first installment of the captivating fantasy series, <I><s></s>We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies<e></e></I> by Matthew Tysz, immerses readers in the journey of Galen as he escapes his war-ravaged town, torn apart by the conflict among the emperor's sons, and finds refuge in the land of Voulhire. Through multiple perspectives, we delve into the intertwined stories of King Wilhelm, Galen, and the newly appointed Lord Eldus, along with other compelling characters whose roles contribute significantly to the narrative.<br/>
<br/>
Galen Bray, having grown up in a place plagued by war and destitution, unexpectedly discovers his inheritance in Voulhire, where he can finally experience the freedom and happiness that had eluded him. However, the heart of the tale lies in Galen's transformation alongside King Wilhelm, a beautifully flawed character whom readers cannot help but adore. King Wilhelm, facing daunting challenges, ascends to power with lofty aspirations and noble intentions, while navigating the treacherous path of leadership. The former Lords of Hilport, consumed by their own selfishness and ruthlessness, are swiftly dethroned by the determined King Wilhelm. In their place, Lord Eldus, a former judge, is appointed by the king to restore peace among the people of Hillport. Will Lord Eldus triumph in his mission? And what lies ahead for Galen on his arduous journey? These answers await within the pages of this amazing book.<br/>

One aspect I particularly appreciated about the novel was the portrayal of King Wilhelm's rise to power, which showcased the inherent struggles and challenges of real-life leadership. While reading, I found myself captivated by the author's masterful use of language. The vivid and believable descriptions of the kingdom, its traditions, and the gripping fight scenes brought the narrative to life.<br/>

In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed <I><s></s>We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies<e></e></I> and could not find any faults with it. The book was impeccably edited, free of errors, and therefore deserves a perfect rating of <B><s></s>5 out of 5 stars<e></e></B>. I recommend this enchanting tale to all fans of fantasy and magic.</r>
